Who does the painting & who will supervise the job?

Zansitis Painting Inc. uses a “Lead Painter” system that has evolved over our 20+ years in the business. Each of our Lead Painters has a minimum of 5 years experience and has attended our internal management training program. This person manages a crew of 2-6 painters depending on the size of the project. Although crew members change from time to time, the continuity of a consistent Lead Painter offer many advantages and benefits for our clients.

  • I've had bids before, and I get some prices that are all over the spectrum -why?Open or Close

    The biggest factor in the final cost of a any job is usually he level of thoroughness, attention to detail and the overall quality of the work. A good example of this scale is how it costs more to properly prepare a surface for painting than to give it the “quick once over.” To properly prepare a surface, it might take several steps and hour of work to make sure it will look great with a fresh coat of paint. We are always more than happy to review a quote in detail and share how we calculated your project’s cost so you can make a fair comparison with other bids.

  • Will you stay on the job once you begin?Open or Close

    “The last painter we hired would work for a few days, then be gone for a couple days. Always starting and stopping.” An unfortunately typical problem.Yes. Our crew will stay with the project and work until your painting is completed weather permitting. Our goal is to have the same crew work on your job from start to finish.

  • Do you have references?Open or Close

    Yes, some of our best customers are quoted on our “Customer Quote” page. In addition to our customer references, we are also sure to carefully check personal and professional references of all new hires. Zansitis Painting Inc. is proud to be a drug-free business.

  • Do you have a warranty?Open or Close

    Yes, a one year limited warranty on most work. The warranty details are included in our proposal package.

  • Are you licensed, bonded and insured?Open or Close

    Yes. Zansitis Paintint Inc. is licensed by the state of New Jersey. In addition to state mandated bonding requirements, we also maintain general liability insurance with $2 million dollar aggregate coverage, automobile liability insurance to $1 million dollars personal and worker’s compensation insurance.

  • Can you help with other things besides painting?Open or Close

    We are able to complete wall and ceiling repairs, install wallpaper and perform smaller home improvement tasks associated with the painting project.

  • What kind of paint do you use?Open or Close

    We use premium quality products from all the major suppliers. However, the brand of paint we use can be influenced by other factors including customer preference, the nature of the project, and other bid specifications.

  • What do I have to do in order to get ready?Open or Close

    The only items we ask the customer to move are the small knick-knack type items and pictures. We come expecting to move furniture, window treatments and switch plates. Upon completion of the painting we will place all items we moved back to their original locations.

  • Will the crew be using my bathroom?Open or Close

    That is entirely up to you! We try to be as respectful as possible when using our clients restrooms. We understand if you’d rather us go elsewhere to do our business.
